"Bright Beginnings"

Garden of Eden Bright Beginnings curriculum for toddlers and two-year-olds provides an enriching environment with activities that are designed to enhance your child's total development in a quality early childhood education environment.  Bright Beginnings toddler curriculum allows your one- or two-year-old to spend busy, fulfilled days engaged in activities that will promote learning and discovery.  Whether it's filling containers at the water table, stacking and tumbling blocks, or playing with appropriate toys and puzzles, your child will learn as he or she plays.

Bright Beginnings Activity Cabins for Toddlers and Two-Year-Olds

Movement Cabin - The development of gross (large) motor skills requires exercise and practice.  In this area children are given the opportunity to climb, jump, tumble, and crawl under and into appropriate equipment.

Creative Cabin - Children are able to stretch their imaginations and develop creativity through a variety of experiences in this fun area.

Sensory Cabin - One- and two-year-olds use their senses as a means of exploring and learning about their world.

Quiet Cabin - Children need a cozy, quiet place to go and get a sense of security and solitude.

Pretend Cabin - This allows young children to dress up and act like people who are part of their world; a doctor, nurse, firefighter, engineer, and a teacher.

Outdoor Cabin - One and two year olds are able to explore and enjoy experiences outdoors while developing their muscles and coordination skills.

Song and Book Cabin - Toddlers are exposed to the wonderful world of books and music.

Sleeping Cabin - This is an area of the classroom where infants sleep.  Because infants are all on different schedules, the cabin is used throughout the day for sleeping infants only.

Outdoor Play Cabin - This is an outside area designed to provide a safe and interesting environment for babies when weather conditions are appropriate.

Comfort Cabin - The Comfort Cabin is a soft and cozy place that provides a sense of security and a place to rest before moving to a more active cabin.
